Yesterday, I found myself on a drive with my husband Paul, an activity that we do when we want to seek peace and relax. It was a lovely autumn day, and the warmth of the sun was comforting as we drove and took in the fall colors.
Yet, beneath this idyllic scenery, I couldn't help but be reminded of the state of the world beyond the horizon; places devastated by extreme weather, where lives are lost and communities shattered, communities near and far engulfed in political turmoil, and the inhumanity going on in the world.
